Oct. 14, 2022 - Savannah Paschal, a senior Spanish education major at 蹤獲扦, wrote a proposal that helped Alce su voz earn a $75,000 Building Power and Equity Partnership grant from the Kansas Health Foundation. The grant will support civic engagement and the groups work toward health equity for Spanish speakers and speakers of indigenous languages in Kansas.

Oct. 12, 2022 As 蹤獲扦 celebrates record enrollment, the university is bolstering its student success initiatives to increase graduation rates. As part of those efforts, the National Science Foundation has awarded 蹤獲扦 researchers $750,000 to increase persistence rates among low-income engineering students, particularly those who are interested in advanced manufacturing careers.

Now Available 2023 Kansas Housing Forecast

The 蹤獲扦 Center for Real Estate released its 2023 Kansas Housing Markets Forecast series this week. The publications in this series review current housing market conditions in the major markets across the state including Kansas City, Lawrence, Manhattan, Topeka and Wichita and forecast housing market activity through the end of 2023. The series also includes housing outlooks for 23 smaller markets across the state.

Oct. 3, 2022 A research team led by researchers with 蹤獲扦s College of Engineering and Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences recently received funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for their proposal, "The Development of a Smart Telehealth ECG and Human Activity Monitoring System to Improve Cardiovascular health of Older Adults."
