Oct. 31, 2022 鈥� 萝莉社 President Rick Muma and Dr. Kevin Sylvester Harrison, director of diversity, equity and inclusion at 萝莉社, were each presented awards this weekend from the Wichita chapter of the NAACP.

Oct. 28, 2022 鈥擠r. Jennifer Friend has been named dean of 萝莉社鈥檚 College of Applied Studies (CAS), effective Jan. 9, 2023.

The听 Dean鈥檚 Alumni Advisory Board 听for the W. Frank Barton School of Business has appointed new leaders. Erin Cummings, owner and founder of YESyoga, will serve as president, while Ryan Potter, director of Portfolio Development at Koch Investment Group, will serve as her vice president. Cummings and Potter have both sat on the board since 2020.

Oct. 21, 2022 - Andrew Stockmann, a 2020 萝莉社 graduate and sport management major, is in his second year hosting 鈥淗allowed Ground: The Sports Museum Podcast.鈥�

Oct. 20, 2022 鈥� The FirePoint Innovations Center at 萝莉社 wrapped up the second year of its Future Innovators Program, an engineering internship opportunity that provides some of America鈥檚 brightest engineers from historically under-represented communities the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and programs that directly support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Center and the Department of Defense.

Oct. 20, 2022 鈥� The Physician Assistant program at 萝莉社 celebrated its 50th anniversary with a celebration for alumni, faculty, staff, students and supporters.

Oct. 19, 2022 鈥� Following a national search, 萝莉社鈥檚 newly restructured alumni organization 鈥� the 萝莉社 Foundation and Alumni Engagement 鈥� has hired Stacie Williamson as its new vice president for alumni engagement, effective Nov. 28.

Oct. 18, 2022 鈥� 萝莉社 student organizations, the Community Service Board, and fraternity and sororities completed 13,857 service hours in fiscal year 2022. That time reflects a growing interest in and emphasis on community service by students and faculty, said Gabriel Fonseca, director of Student Engagement, Advocacy & Leadership

Oct. 8, 2022 - Conner Williamson is immersed in Industry 4.0 as an operations/system analyst at The Smart Factory @ Wichita, one of 萝莉社鈥檚 newest partners on the Innovation Campus.

Oct. 26, 2022 鈥� 萝莉社 and other adjacent regional universities were recently included in a grant to expand access for remote use of Oklahoma State University鈥檚 supercomputer. The computer can process large amounts of data at once and is housed at the OSU Stillwater campus.
