First-generation student named 萝莉社's 2023 Barton Scholar

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 has awarded Isabella (Bella) Kilman, a Valley Center High School senior, the 2023 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Four new tenants fill 萝莉社's Braeburn Square with an array of dining, shopping options

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥� Braeburn Square on 萝莉社鈥檚 Innovation Campus is transforming the dining and shopping scene in Wichita. With four new tenants 鈥� Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike鈥檚, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Pedego Wichita 鈥� the shopping center is fully occupied and fast becoming a hub for all Wichitans to gather, feast and shop.

Feb. 17, 2023 鈥� The College of Innovation & Design and the Center for Entrepreneurship have named Lance Minor as the new director of the Kansas Family Business Forum.

Treatment for burn wounds could be revolutionized through 萝莉社 research

Feb. 14, 2023 鈥� Every year, there are roughly 450,000 burn wounds that require clinical care throughout the United States. Of those, more than 3,500 people are fatally injured. An interdisciplinary team of 萝莉社 researchers is working to revolutionize burn-wound care with a scaffolding system that prevents infection and promotes healing.

萝莉社's $2.4 million NSF award aims to recruit, retain cybersecurity students

Feb. 7, 2023 鈥� Beginning in fall 2023, the five CyberCorps Scholarships will be awarded to current 萝莉社 undergraduate and graduate students, as well as incoming transfer students. Recipients will receive funding for tuition, a stipend of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $34,000 for graduate students, as well as money for travel and supplies.
