After two years of success, the Widener Global Leaders Program led by the W. Frank Barton School of Business will continue for the next five years. The continuation of the program is made possible by a $300,000 gift from Peri Widener, the visionary behind the program. WGLP is an interdisciplinary program designed to create a transformational experience and foster an inclusive community for women majoring in business, communications and fine arts. The integration of the three disciplines reflects the skillset of Peri Widener, who utilized her background to thrive in the international business world.

May 21, 2023 蹤獲扦 graduate student Billy Berue will enlist in the Presidents Own United States Marine Band beginning in June. The prestigious band was established in 1798 and is widely regarded as one of the best in the world.

May 18, 2023 - Dean Rodney Miller will retire in June following 19 years leading the College of Fine Arts at 蹤獲扦. During his tenure, the School of Digital Arts was created and enrollment in the college has grown to over 1,000 students.
