Woolsey Hall, the home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社, has a new art installation in partnership with the Envision Arts Program. Patrick McCowan is the third visually impaired artist to be featured on the third floor of the Barton School.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 has received a $150,000 gift to support its Student Experience and Success Fund including its Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD). The contribution was given on behalf of Elizabeth and Edward Burns, whose charitable fund was established through their estate at the Wichita Foundation in 2013.

Sept. 19, 2023 鈥� Through the inaugural Student Practical Architecting Challenge (SPARC), FirePoint Innovations Center at 萝莉社 awarded nearly $40,000 to two student-based teams for their novel innovations in devising future-ready, modular and adaptable software systems to support the Department of Defense's (DOD) Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) initiative.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社 will host its latest James P. Schwartz Speaker Series event on how to harness the transformational impact of analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). The event will occur on Thursday, September 28 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Woolsey Hall Auditorium. It will consist of a keynote panel discussion featuring industry experts in analytics and AI. The panel discussion is open to the public and offers a networking opportunity for attendees following the formal event.

Sept. 11, 2023 鈥� 萝莉社 is holding a parade next month and is inviting anyone in the community to join in. Starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 on the 萝莉社 campus, the parade is part of the university鈥檚 annual Shocktoberfest celebration.
