March 14, 2024 - For a second year, 蹤獲扦 will show off its unique cultural and educational assets while welcoming the community to campus during Open Streets ICT - 蹤獲扦 and Shocker Neighborhood on April 14.

Tadd Fowler, Spring 2024 Executive-in-Residence at the Barton School of Business and Senior Vice President at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G)

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦 proudly announces Tadd Fowler as its Spring 2024 Executive-in-Residence. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G). In his role as Executive-in-Residence, Fowler will deliver a dynamic keynote presentation open to the public, conduct mentoring sessions for students, deliver guest lectures, participate in meetings with Barton School leadership to discuss program and curriculum innovations, as well as engage in various other activities.

March 6, 2024 Four undergraduate students from 蹤獲扦 were among the 18 students recognized at the 22nd annual Kansas IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (K-INBRE) Symposium in Manhattan, Kansas.

Hurricane Michael-caused erosion at the South End archaeological site on Ossabaw Island, Georgia.

Matt Howland, assistant professor of anthropology and archaeology, is using Geographic Information Systems software to model how such coastal change and damage could occur. GIS is used to record, store, analyze, visualize, and interpret geographic data, and has become an important technological tool for archaeologists, particularly in determining changes across landscapes.

CAS Advisory Board

Feb. 29, 2024 The College of Applied Studies at 蹤獲扦 has appointed four distinguished professionals to its Dean's Advisory Board. They are Alicia Sanchez, Amy Williams, Ed O'Malley and Kyle Ellison.

Woolsey Hall, the home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦, has a new art installation in partnership with the Envision Arts Program. Gretchen Howarth is the forth visually impaired artist to be featured on the third floor of the Barton School.

Collegiate DECA chapter at 蹤獲扦 members George Giem, Tayshaun Washington, Valishia Landrum, Nivea, Raven McPherson, Grace Skelton, Maley Hansen, Ronish Rasaily, and Nathan Holloway

The Collegiate DECA chapter at 蹤獲扦 continues to showcase the remarkable talent of its students. DECA, an international association connecting students to business and professional development opportunities, saw the 蹤獲扦 team compete in a statewide competition in Hillsboro, KS on February 23rd. Eight 蹤獲扦 students won eleven medals qualifying them for the upcoming national competition in Austin, Texas, from April 20th to 23rd.
