The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社is helping Butler Community College students interested in furthering their business education with $40,000 in scholarships. These scholarships will help amplify and activate the coordinated 鈥�2+2鈥� program between the two schools where Butler students can receive their associates degree and pursue a business degree at 萝莉社.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has surpassed seven figures in annual scholarships for its students, with funds being distributed throughout the 2021-2022 season. It鈥檚 the first time the Barton School has reached this major milestone, which was made possible by a collection of substantial funds given to the Barton School by generous donors and supporters. This achievement is another example of how 萝莉社 prioritizes the goal of providing an accessible, affordable and impactful higher education for all students.

萝莉社 alumnus J. Robert Young has pledged a gift of $3 million to provide resources that will help students build successful careers. Of that total, $2 million will endow the J. Robert Young Executive-in-Residence Program in the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The remaining $1 million will support the Shocker Success Center project, which will consolidate 17 student services in Clinton Hall.

The Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board serves to advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Barton School. By sharing ideas and making recommendations, each member helps the growth and development of the school and its commitment to excellence. Since Dr. Genin鈥檚 appointment in June 2019, DAB has expanded from 22 to 50 members. But its size isn鈥檛 the only change that鈥檚 been made. Learn more!

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has partnered with 萝莉社 Tech to create a pathway program for 萝莉社 Tech students committed to continuing their education with a business degree. The Barton School and 萝莉社 Tech have also collectively committed to $35,000 in scholarships for students participating in this program.
