Proposed innovative bridge connects academics, industry and research

Aug. 24, 2020 鈥斕� Building a stronger, more听 辫谤辞蹿辞耻苍诲听 connection between the W ichita State main campus and its Innovation Campus,听 the university听 is proposing听 the creation of 听 a 听privately funded 听elevated 听 p edestrian听 bridge听 that will span more than 300 feet across the pond 听 west of 听 Wayne and Kay听 Woolsey Hall, which is scheduled听 to break ground 听later this year.听 听

萝莉社 and Sedgwick County partner for COVID-19 testing

Aug. 14, 2020 --听Thursday the Sedgwick County Commission took a giant step forward against the spread of COVID-19 by partnering with 萝莉社鈥檚 new Molecular Diagnostic Lab (MDL) to increase lab testing capacity for nasopharyngeal swab testing and saliva testing.

Wichita Transit takes over Shocker bus routes

Aug. 11, 2020 鈥� The city of Wichita鈥檚 transit department will be assuming operations of the Shocker bus service beginning Aug. 17. There will be a total of four 萝莉社 routes, beginning Aug. 17.

萝莉社 adds space science and sustainability certificate programs

Aug. 10, 2020 鈥� Beginning this fall, graduate students may pursue a certificate in space science, and undergraduates can weave a certificate in environment and sustainability into their bachelor's degrees.

萝莉社 Board of Trustees approves next step to house the National Institute for Digital Transformation as part of its new convergence sciences initiative

Aug. 6, 2020 --听In an effort to help diversify and grow the economy 鈥� while providing an important platform for creating new academic and applied programs for students 鈥� 萝莉社 is moving forward on a facility to house the National Institute for Digital Transformation (NIDT) as part of its Convergence Sciences initiative.
