Overview

Teaching Professor

Ph.D., University of Strasbourg, France, 1999

With extensive teaching experience across various institutions, I have taught physics at multiple levelsfrom conceptual physics to modern physics and astronomyadapting my approach to suit a wide range of learners and academic settings.

In the classroom, I strive to foster an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, explore concepts, and connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications. I employ a range of teaching strategiessuch as interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experimentsto address diverse learning styles and promote deeper understanding.

Outside the classroom, I provide academic and personal mentorship to students, supporting their development holistically. Each semester, I train and supervise teaching assistants and graders, helping them grow into confident, independent contributors capable of leading discussions and managing responsibilities effectively.

I am passionate about exploring innovative teaching methodologies and leveraging emerging technologies to create learning environments that resonate with students aspirations and ignite their enthusiasm for learning.
