Ethan Kabler, a graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology Systems, now works as an IT Security Administrator. In my current role, I wear many hats, he says. From examining logs and designing new IT solutions to managing policies and working with internal teams and third-party vendors, Ethan plays a key part in keeping systems secure and compliant. His journey started at Ennovar, where he held roles as a Helpdesk Technician and later as a Cybersecurity Analyst at Textron Aviation.
Ennovar provided me the experience I needed to be considered for the position Im in, he shares. It was an environment where I could learn from others, and my own mistakes. The hands-on experience helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world problem-solving. He also credits Ennovar with helping him grow professionally. I received professional guidance that enabled me to cooperate more effectively with my colleagues and communicate my thoughts in a structured and efficient manner.

Ethan looks back on his time at Ennovar fondly. I enjoyed being surrounded by people who always wanted to learn and grow as IT professionals, and as individuals, he says. I was fortunate enough to make a lot of connections, friends and colleagues, that I intend on maintaining. Outside of work, Ethan enjoys playing guitar. His advice for current students is simple but valuable: Keep yourself busy and always have a question for someone. Maintain curiosity and always ask for feedback, especially from superiors.
Ethan adds, I look back on [Ennovar] and definitely miss it.... the people, the novelty of learning to be professional, and the path of discovering what I wanted and where I would go next.
