Dec. 16, 2024 鈥� Javier Martinez received the Mark and Stacy Parkinson Scholarship, which, alongside 萝莉社 University鈥檚 closeness to home and mechanical engineering program, made it a no-brainer for Javier to attend 萝莉社. He used the opportunities available to him as a Shocker to stay up on his studies and now joins his peers in graduating with a bachelor鈥檚 in mechanical engineering.
Sept. 25, 2024 鈥� The 2024 CyberCorp Scholars at 萝莉社have been announced. The scholarship aims to increase the workforce of cybersecurity professionals in government.
May 03, 2024 鈥� Christine Cleary was one of 萝莉社 University鈥檚 2020 Rudd Scholars. From Clearwater, Kansas, she moved to Wichita for college, which required her to adjust to living in a city, but thanks to the Rudd Scholarship, she was able to fully devote herself to college life and will graduate with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in dental hygiene.
The seventh cohort of Rudd Scholars includes 15 Kansas high schools who have chosen to attend 萝莉社 University. Each Rudd Scholar will receive a full-ride scholarship, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing, and considerable networking and coaching support along the way.
Feb. 27, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社has named its two recipients of the 2024 Professor Fran Jabara Scholarship in Entrepreneurship. This year鈥檚 winners are Annika Lindeman from Eisenhower High School in Goddard, Kansas, and Abby Rexford from West Jessamine High School in Wilmore, Kentucky. They will each receive more than $32,700 spread over four years to attend 萝莉社 and major in entrepreneurship.
Feb. 15, 2024 鈥� Ten high school students from Kansas, Missouri and Texas have been awarded the Koch Scholarship at 萝莉社 University, starting in the fall 2024 semester. Each scholar each will be awarded $30,000 to attend 萝莉社 over four years.
Feb. 14, 2024 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 萝莉社awarded Faith Swart, a Maize High School senior, the 2024 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.
Feb. 13, 2024 鈥� The College of Engineering at 萝莉社is hosting a public 5k run/walk that is open to students, staff, faculty and community members. The 5k will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 on the 萝莉社 campus. Registration proceeds from the 5k will go toward the College of Engineering Needs-Based Scholarship Fund.
Feb. 1, 2024 鈥� 萝莉社has selected the 2024 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 萝莉社starting in August 2024.
Nov. 6, 2023 鈥� 萝莉社is home to nearly 5,000 first-generation students, individuals whose caregivers weren't able to complete a college degree and who lack the firsthand experience to tackle college life. To help with their transition, 萝莉社 offers a number of resources to first-gen students to support them during their time in college, including聽F1RST GEN SHOCKERS.
